Acquity Group brings home an Interactive Media Award for work with General Motors!

Recently, Acquity Group was honored with an Interactive Media Award (IMA) for launching the new General Motors (GM) Media Website (media.gm.com). The award won the IMA, Outstanding Achievement Award in the “Automobile” category, the second highest honor bestowed by IMA and a very challenging award to win.

GM partnered with Acquity Group to build the new media.gm.com, which serves as the single source for all news and investor relations content that GM publishes globally, representing hundreds of web and mobile sites. Acquity Group built the site on its Content OnDemand® managed services solution, dramatically lowering TCO and providing a scalable platform supporting future changes and updates. Also implemented were social media capabilities and the ability to quickly launch mobile-optimized sites.

The IMA’s recognize the highest standards of excellence in website design and development and honor individuals and organizations for their outstanding achievement. Created by the Interactive Media Council, Inc. (IMC), the competition was designed to elevate the standards of excellence on the Internet and offer winners a boost in marketing and exposure.
